Your privacy is of the utmost importance to Wazzamba.  We will only use the personal information you submit to us for the purpose in which it was intended to be used.
 

The following policy (“Policy”) describes how we treat personal information that we collect and receive from you.  By “Personal Information”, we mean information that can identify you as an individual, such as your name, email address, real world address and that is not otherwise publicly available.

 

Any photographs you send us will be posted on the website only for the purpose for which they were sent to us. They will be maintained on the Wazzamba website for a period of time to be determined by Wazzamba and will later be destroyed and not returned to you.
 

From time to time, we may make changes to this Policy.  If we make any significant changes, we will notify you via email or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
 

Information Collection
 

Wazzamba may collect personal information in several different ways, depending on how you use the service:

 

  1. When you register with us as a member;
  2. When you use the Wazzamba service;
  3. When you win a prize
  4. When you contact Customer Service;
  5. As required or authorized by law, and;
  6. When you visit Wazzamba’s website pages or the pages of some of our partners.
     

We generally use this information to improve the quality of our service. However, we may combine information about you with information from our business partners.  For example, if you win a DreamTrip™, we may combine your Wazzamba information with the information you give our travel partners, so that you may be better served during your trip and in the future.


Wazzamba also collects information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners.  Wazzamba will never store credit card information or other sensitive payment details. If you select to have such payment information saved during our payment process, our bank and/or payment processors store the information in their systems.


Our server logs automatically record information from your browser, including your IP address, browser cookie information and the pages you request.


Wazzamba does not currently accept registrations from anyone who has not reached the age of majority, which is often 18 years of age but can be higher in some jurisdictions.


Information Sharing


Wazzamba will not disclose any personal information about you to any third parties without your permission, except under the following circumstances:

 

  • To trusted business partners who work with Wazzamba under confidentiality agreements. These companies will only use this information in context to their relationship with Wazzamba; for example, our travel partners use this information to verify Wazzamba members who win vacation trips.
  • If Wazzamba is required by law or by a legal authority to divulge the information;
  • In the process of exercising our legal rights or to defend against legal claims;
  • To prevent or halt any unlawful activities;
  • If required to correct a violation of Wazzamba’s Terms Of Service ;
  • To prevent or halt any activity that may threaten the safety or security of any person.
     

Additionally, we may transfer or merge information if we are acquired by or merged with, another company.
 

Is my Personal Information Secure?


Wazzamba takes reasonable and responsible steps to ensure that your Personal Information is kept safe from loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.  Some of the steps we take in order to protect your information are:
 

  • Security reviews of our offices;
  • Restricted file access to Personal Information;
  • Technology safeguards at our datacenter, such as firewalls, to prevent hacking or unauthorized computer access.
     

We make reasonable efforts to encrypt all data entering and leaving our datacenter. However, it is possible that any information transmitted via the Internet may be intercepted by unknown third parties. 
 

Your Responsibility for Privacy
 

You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords or any Personal Information in your possession.
